Mechanical & Plumbing Drafting
Electrical rarely arrives on a project alone. We complete the MEP set (mechanical, plumbing and fire protection) drafted to the same standard as the rest of your package.

Concrete deliverables, not vague promises.
Mechanical
- HVAC layouts, duct routing and sizing
- Equipment schedules and specification data
- Heating and cooling load calculations
- Ventilation and exhaust design
- Mechanical details, sections and control diagrams
Plumbing
- Domestic water, sanitary and vent layouts
- Riser diagrams and isometrics
- Storm drainage and roof drainage design
- Gas piping layouts and sizing
- Fixture schedules and connection details
Fire protection
- Sprinkler layouts and head placement
- Hydraulic calculations
- Standpipe and riser design
- Fire protection details and submittal support
Architectural floor plans, a design brief, or an existing MEP set requiring completion or revision. Where the mechanical design intent isn't fixed, we can work from performance requirements rather than a prescribed layout.
Codes & standards
ASHRAE standards including 62.1 and 90.1, ACCA Manual J and Manual N, International Mechanical Code, International Plumbing Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, SMACNA duct construction standards, and NFPA 13 for sprinkler design.
Full service engineering design. Delivered remotely.
- 01
Start with a bounded request
Send what you have — sketches, GIS/CAD files, pole data, spreadsheets. A named engineer reviews it and confirms a scoping timetable.
- 02
Agree scope, standards & criteria
Work begins once a written SOW sets deliverables, assumptions, standards and who owns each engineering decision.
- 03
Produce with visible controls
Assumptions, RFIs and progress are logged as they happen, not buried inside the drawing set.
- 04
Independent QA & handoff
A second reviewer checks the package against the SOW before a revision-tracked transmittal ships.
MEP contractors at drafting capacity
Design-build contractors needing a complete coordinated MEP set
Architects whose MEP consultant has fallen behind
Developers on repeatable building typologies
Do you seal mechanical and plumbing drawings?
No. We produce permit-ready packages for review and sealing by your engineer of record. Where you don't have one, we'll help define what the local jurisdiction requires.
Can you coordinate MEP against a structural model?
Yes, this is where our BIM and clash detection service connects directly. Coordinating MEP against structure before issue is substantially cheaper than resolving it on site.
Do you do fire alarm and low voltage?
Fire alarm layouts, yes, as part of an electrical scope. Detailed low-voltage systems design is outside our current service.
Have a mechanical & plumbing drafting project to scope?
A sketch, a photo, a spreadsheet: send what you have and we’ll take it from there.
