Confidentiality Statement
Last updated: July 2026
This is a working draft prepared for launch and pending review by qualified legal counsel before it is treated as final.
Confidentiality is the default, not an add-on
Every file, sketch, spreadsheet or project detail sent to Pathworks is treated as confidential, whether or not a formal NDA is in place. NDA requirement is available as an option in the Start a Project form, and we’re equally comfortable working under your standard NDA or ours — but the underlying handling commitment doesn’t change either way.
Who sees your files
Only the engineers and drafters assigned to your project, plus the independent reviewer on our quality-control step, have access to your project material. Files are never shared outside the assigned delivery team without your consent, and are never used as marketing material without explicit permission.
How files are protected
- Encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Scanned for malware on receipt.
- Stored with access limited to authorized Pathworks staff.
- Retained only as long as needed for the engagement and any related obligations, then deleted on a routine schedule.
Anonymized case studies and portfolio use
When we feature a project in our portfolio or blog, client identity and any sensitive commercial detail are anonymized by default. We only use identifiable client names, logos or project specifics with your explicit, separate permission.
Requesting an NDA
If you’d like a signed NDA before sharing project details, select that option in the Start a Project form, note it when you contact us, or email support@pathworksengineering.com directly. We can sign your standard NDA or provide ours.
