This policy explains how Pathworks Engineering(“Pathworks”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal information and project material submitted through our website, including the Start a Project quotation request flow and the contact form.

Depending on how you interact with the site, we collect:

• Contact details you provide: name, company, email, phone number.
• Project material you upload: sketches, photos, maps, spreadsheets, CAD files and related documents.
• Project details you provide: service area, engagement type, location, description, timeline and NDA preference.
• Technical and usage data: pages visited, referring source, UTM parameters, and aggregated analytics used to understand how the site and quotation flow perform.

• To respond to quotation requests and contact messages, including scoping and quoting your project.
• To deliver engineering design, drafting and documentation services you request.
• To send transactional communications: acknowledgements, quotes, and project updates.
• To improve the website and quotation request flow, using aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics.
• To meet legal, accounting and security obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use project material for marketing purposes without explicit consent.

Uploaded files and submitted project data are encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to authorized Pathworks staff assigned to your project plus the independent reviewer on our quality-control step. Uploads are scanned for malware on receipt.

Project files and submission records are retained for as long as needed to deliver the engagement and to support any warranty, dispute or legal obligation, after which they are deleted on a routine schedule. You may request earlier deletion of your files and personal data at any time by emailing support@pathworksengineering.com, subject to any retention we’re legally required to maintain.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We aim to comply with applicable data protection law, including GDPR principles, for all clients regardless of location. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@pathworksengineering.com.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, file storage) strictly to operate the service. These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations and do not use it for their own purposes.
