Existing single-line diagrams, equipment nameplate data, cable schedules, protective device types and current settings, and the utility's available fault current letter. Where data is missing we identify what's needed and, where industry-typical values are defensible, apply and document them.

Common questions

Does this need to be stamped by a licensed engineer?

In most US jurisdictions, yes: an arc flash study relied on for worker safety is typically expected to carry a PE seal. We produce the model, analysis and full report; sealing is by your engineer of record. Discuss this at scoping so the deliverable is structured for their review.

How current does the data need to be?

The study is only as good as the model. Where a system has been modified since the last documented single-line, the study should be preceded by a data collection exercise: we'll tell you if what you've supplied isn't sufficient rather than producing a study built on a stale model.

Do you provide the labels themselves?

We produce print-ready label artwork with the calculated values, formatted to NFPA 70E. Physical printing and installation is handled locally.
